1.) Make it a habit to surround yourself with other positive people.
Sounds simple but it’s not. People can be vampires of energy, peace and joy.
Keep energy vampire’s at a safe distance. Your joy irritates them they will try to pull you down to be miserable too. Because your happiness makes them feel less than, lacking and deficient. They are but they are choosing that. They will use words to hurt you like your crazy, are you drunk? your not living a real life get real. This is to make you be embarrassed hoping to steal your peace from you hold firm.
Being around positive and uplifting people, will lift you higher and make you feel comforted and not alone in your happiness journey. Positive attracts Positive. The more positive you are the higher your energy vibration is and happy positive people feel and see it and just show up in your path. Find the people who feel like sunshine and soon you are the sunshine as well.
2.) Make it a habit to look for the goodness around you.
When you train yourself to look for the good around you, you start to see it. Sometimes in the smallest of things like a bright sunny day, a butterfly or bird flying by, a stranger smiling at you, a brief nice conversation with a checkout clerk.
When you make it a point, A habit, to notice goodness, it lifts you. it makes you feel happy.
3.) Make is a habit to be open to newness.
This world is so big and so wonderful and so rich of things to try and learn it’s never ending in possibilities. When we say yes to simple things like new foods, important things like new friends and everything in between like new book genres, new tasks new experiences follow. Our endorphins increase and our happiness rises with them.
4.) Make a habit of lifting other up.
Telling someone else that you like their shirt, their hair looks great in that style, They’re are a great mom, their smile lights up a room. It feel good –Happy– on both sides.
Uplifting others includes Smiling. you’d be surprised how much power a smile can hold. It can literally can a persons day. a smile is a universal language that crosses all ages and cultures, it’s contagious in a healthy way and it’s free. Change someone’s day use that power.

5.) Make it a habit to not expect perfection.
Not every moment or everyday is happy. Everyone has a terrible, horrible, no goodness, really bad days. Just breathe take accountability for this experience sometimes life happens. Without a bad day from time to time we could never fully appreciate the good days.
“Without bad we have no good remember nothing last forever”
That sentence or mantra makes the bad stuff more bearable and the good stuff feel Golden.
